Found this floating around Instagram… Clearly whoever made it never actually watched all the anime shown above…
If you’re going to do a hypothetical versus battle between fictional characters, please be sure to use common sense when comparing their strengths. It shouldn’t be a popularity contest.
A character from Attack on Titan can barely cut through a Titan’s neck, which by definition - is a slab of meat. To compare that to the likes of characters who can blow up a city block without effort is just insane.

So I decided to cosplay as Ringo from Air Gear. I’ve always loved her cute/crazy outfits and noticed she has a lot of different looks - including hair length. As the series went on she had longer hair and would part it differently. Oh well, how do I look?

Some dude questioned my geek status by asking if I played MineCraft. I joked it was too mainstream, unlike StarCraft. I’d only admit defeat if he played Quake.
He then replies that my statement of MineCraft being too mainstream would be the response of someone who didn’t take advantage of the open source coding to the game… And that Steam + Minecraft + Anime = Him
I then encouraged him to KIK me instead of posting back and forth on the unrelated wedding photo he was responding on (this was on Instagram) and urged him to keep it less competitive, if he knew what was good for him. (I went to compare his love for Anime to mine with the fact that I’ve been running my Anime Graphic Site for 10 years, my almost $10,000-$15,000 worth of computer setup in my place and my posters on the wall and the fact that I was probably OLDER THAN HIM.)
All this had me thinking, while irking me… Being a ”Geek” has gone a long way, to the point where we can openly debate our love for something that was once deemed too socially questionable. Geek/Nerd fights are no longer the 80’s movie, thick-framed snort and giggle fest in the high school dance corners.
But seriously though… Why on my wedding photo? Why war among ourselves when we are still outnumbered? And if you’re going to be competitive, at least know who you’re dealing with? :D
P.S. I deleted the conversation off my wedding photo on Instagram because they just don’t apply to the subject photo.
*shakes head* Only the young would challenge me… Ya’ll don’t know what it’s like to deal with DOS computers and AOL dial-up.
"MOTHER! I’M ON THE INTERNET, DON’T USE THE TELEPHONE! MOTHER!!!!"
Sorry, I deviated a bit with a flashback… But seriously though… WTF?
